Aldbrough is well situated for the keen ornithologist. To the south is the renowned Spurn Head, to the
North the inspiring cliffs of Flamborough Head
In between we have miles of relatively quite coastline and a predominately rural landscape.
The hotel itself attracts quite a number of birds. we have
a resident Gannets, Puffins and of course Teal's can always be seen

regular cacophony of ducks, geese and swans, but its massive expanse of water
often brings in the odd
twitchers'
delight.
colony of Rooks, Barn and Tawny Owls and visits of Sand martins
and other such birds. Down at the coast Lapland Buntings and
Little Gulls, White-winged Black Terns and Wrynecks have been seen.
